Where it started

A father's diagnosis

In May 2005, during Kenny's senior year of high school, his father, also named Kenny Kane, was diagnosed with stage 2B testicular cancer. Kenny was 18. Good information was scattered and hard to find, and that experience shaped how he thinks about patients, families, and the systems built to serve them.
